EXPLORER PROGRAM
ACTIVITIES
Meetings are scheduled twice a month and consist of classroom, manipulative training and drills.
activities and drills are divided into four areas:

EDUCATION - fire related topics, drills, training lectures, field trips.

JOB ORIENTATION - non-hazardous actives designed to familiarize explorers with the nature of the fire service.

COMMUNITY SERVICE - assist youth organizations, civic organization and other groups.

SOCIAL AND RECREATIONAL - approved developed activities by the post advisor coordinator.
APPLICATION PROCESS
Membership

Meet the minimum requirements for eligibility.

Attend a minimum of two meetings.

Submit application
Membership is attained after meeting the minimum requirement for eligibility and approval of the Lead Advisor. Once an individual is accepted into the explorer program all forms must be completed and submitted to participate in any post functions and activities.
